Elf on the Shelf Planner The number of days in a leap year cycle of the Calendar of Imladris is very close to number of days in a leap year cycle of the modern Gregorian calendar, since 3 leap days every 12 years in the Calendar of Imladris is the same average as 1 leap day every 4 years in the Gregorian calendar. The Gregorian calendar, however, omits 3 leap days every 400 years (the last year of a century except in centuries divisible by 400), whereas the Calendar of Imladris omits 3 leap days every 432 years. [2] Every year I say to myself “I must make myself a calendar” and in typical Super Busy Mum fashion {see what I did there?} I never do. But this year, I have {finally} made one and I am feeling nothing short of victorious and hugely organised.

Day 18 (12/11) - Coloring book - Have your elf coloring way outside of the lines in your kids’ favorite coloring book. (Supplies Needed: Crayons, coloring book) Go ahead and fill in the blank Elf calendar template (or just print the pre-filled version) and gather your props and everything you need for each scene ahead of time. You can store all of the items for each day in a zip top bag, and then label each bag with the number to correspond to the date that you’ll be using the items.All of the Christmas elf inspiration can get overwhelming. The year ( loa) begins on March 21st. That day is called Yestare. The next day begins the season of tuile. Tuil'e ends on May 14th. Laire begins on May 15th and ends on July 25th. Yavie begins on July 26th and ends on September 17th. The next three days are the enderi (September 18th, 19th, and 20th). Quelle begins on September 21st and ends on November 13th. Then Hrive starts on the 14th. It ends on January 24th. Coire begins on January 25th and ends on March 19th. The next day is Mettare. These dates only work until the enderi have been doubled. Once every twelve years the elves would double the enderi to replace having a leap year. Day 9 (12/2) - Doll tea party - Have a few dolls set up to have a tea party with your elf.
