He does, however, prevent her from going out on her own because she's not old enough yet while letting Sprig and Anne do dangerous
He and Anne come to a better understanding of one another after spending the night defending the Plantars' crops - they share a similar desire for the lives they used to live and protect each other when they encounter the culprit. [2]
What Is The Milly Rock?
Anne, the Plantars, and Loggle are out recruiting more help and getting more to join the rebellion against the king. Hop Pop uses what he knows and tries to get people to join up by sharing the thrill of gardening. Realizing this method isn’t going to work, Anne emphasizes that joining will get them built like Loggle, who has a remarkable physique since joining up.
